Not every day looks like a finished project, and honestly, that’s kind of the point.
Throughout the year, we have hundreds of projects moving through our company, all at different stages and timelines. Each project manager and team member has their own group of projects they’re juggling, often managing 10–15 at a time, and those projects are constantly moving, changing, and rotating.
While one project may be in the planning process, another could be in demolition, another moving through construction, and yet another going through its final punch-list check before the homeowner moves in. There’s always something happening somewhere.
Days are filled with coffee, conversations and meetings, design decisions, site visits, emails, problem-solving, and everything in between. And, of course, there’s the teamwork that ties it all together. From the planning happening in the office to the hard work happening out on the jobsites, every detail plays a part in bringing a project to life.
So, here’s a little glimpse into a day in the life through these film photos.
Because as much as we love showcasing the finished work, we also love showcasing us working. There’s so much more to our family-owned company than just the pretty end result, and we’ve noticed that you like seeing that side of things, too.
You want to know who is actually doing the work, and honestly, we think that’s pretty important. We’re not just here to educate you about home remodeling and help guide you through the process, still a very important part. We’re building a relationship with you throughout your project, and hopefully, one that lasts long after the final walk-through.
The finished project is the part you see, but there’s a whole lot that happens behind the scenes to get there. And we think that part is worth showing, too.

We can’t forget about the littlest of the Taylor crew who comes to work often! Our fifth generation! Always willing to help, and always a treat from papa in hand!

People can go on about the worries of AI and how it’s changing the way we connect and interact, but truthfully, everyone still needs human interaction, even if it’s in digital form. As the person who runs the backend business and social media/content, I’ve noticed the things that get the best engagement are the ones with our people in them. People connect with people, they cannot connect with a project. Using a project as inspiration or to showcase our work is great, but then you don’t get to see who was all involved in that project.
How cool is it to see someone being posted on our social media, and then when they show up on your jobsite you recognize them! It is comforting to know that the people we trust to carry out functions within our business are the same people you can trust to help take care of your home. And maybe you get to make those connections with the people in office or the guys on the jobsites. We have a lot of customers who, after their work is done, go and comment on pictures of the guys that were at their jobs and feel a sense of connection in our digital worlds. All this to say, it has been a goal of ours to help showcase every part of our company, not just the finished products. We hope you join us along the journey!
Best, Haley Newhouse
